Faberge Imperial Chess Set

A reproduction of the only known Faberge chess set, made by the workmaster Karl Gustav Hjalmar Armfelt.This exquisite 24k gold-plated and sterling silver mounted hard stone set has pieces carved of black onyx and red agate. The board is made of alternating squares of white calcite and black onyx with a red agate rim. This board is presented in a stunning black ostrich leather box; the chess pieces are stored in a separate compartment also made of black ostrich.
